Nyt onkin maha täynnä hyvä kirjoittaa. Käytiin ihan just tuossa Flaming Jacks -nimisessä ravintolassa syömässä ja ai ai miten hyvää ruokaa olikaan. Olisi tietty voinut annoksista ottaa kuvat mutta ei tullut mieleen vasta kun annokset olivat puoleksi jo tuhottuja.
Tänään aamulla olimme mukana kamera- ja valaistustunnilla, jossa käytiin läpi hieman erikoisempa kuvaustekniikoita kuten vertigoa ja whip cuttia. Sitten katselimme hieman oppilaitten tekemiä videoita.
Kahden aikaan loikimme kolmen muun koululaisen mukana Derryn Tower -museoon. Museossa saimme ohjatun kierroksen läpi Derryn ja Irlannin historian. Kierros oli tosi mukava ja mielenkiintoinen, pakko myöntää! Opas oli todella mukava ja häntä oli ilo kuunnella. Nyt tiedämme tarkemmin esimerkiksi miksi kaupunkia alettiin kutsua Londonderryksi tai miksi Pohjois-Irlanti ei kuulu Irlantiin. Ikävä kyllä museossa oli valokuvaus kiellossa ja siksi meillä ei ole mitään messevää kuvaa tähän laittaa. Museoinnin jälkeen lähdimme juomaan teetä/kahvia jonka jälkeen sanoimme heipat koululaisille ja siirryimme shoppailemaan läheisiin kauppoihin. Saimme ostoshimomme tyydytettyä - toistaiseksi!
It feels good to write this when we have our stomaches full - we just came from the Flaming Jacks restaurant. Food there was really appetizing, it's a shame that we didn't realize to take a picture of our meals before they were eaten to half...
Today we went to the camera and lightning -class, where we looked through some different effects that could be used while filming, like vertigo and whip cutting. We also watched some videos that some pupils had made.
At 2pm we moved to Tower Museum with the students leading the way. In the museum we got a guided tour through Derry's and Ireland's history. The tour itself was really interesting, and the guide was really kind and it was a pleasure to listen to him. Now, for example, we know why is this city called Londonderry, or why isn't Northern-Ireland part of Ireland. We couldn't take any photographs in the museum so we don't have any cool pic to put in here.. Nawwww. After the tour we and the other students went to drink some tea/coffee. When we finished our teas we bid our byes to the other students and went to do some shopping. And now our appetite for shopping and spending all our money is pretty much satisfied - for a day at least.
