Eilen meidät vietiin taas katselemaan Irlantilaisia nähtävyyksiä. Giant's Causewayllä käytiin katselemassa hyvin erikoisen muotoisia kiviä joita on nähtävillä vain kahdessa paikassa (Skotlannissa ja Irlannisa) koko maailmassa.Toinen aivan-pakko-nähdä paikka jossa vierailimme oli tietysti Bushmillsin viskitehdas. Saatiin opastettu kierto läpi tehtaan ja oli kyllä melekosen siistiä nähdä miten sitä viskiä oikein siellä tehdään. Huono homma vaan, ettei siellä saanut ottaa yhtään kuvia. Kierroksen jälkeen tietty saimme kaikki maistiaiset.
Jättiläisen tien ja Puskamyllyn jälkeen lähettiin vielä käymään jossain siistissä paikassa jonka nimeä en nyt tähän hätään kyllä muista. Maisemat paikalla oli kyllä tosi upeat. Vesikin näytti niin mukavalta että teki mieli hypätä kielekkeeltä mereen pulikoimaan. Olimme kuitenkin aika korkealla niin jätimme hyppäämisen kuitenkin pelkäksi haaveeksi.
Yesterday Basil took us and our musicians to see some places of interest in Northern Ireland. Giant's Causeway was pretty nice looking. Those rocks were very unique looking - we have been told that there is only two places (Ireland and Scotland) in the world where we can see something like that.
One must-see place we also got to visit was Bushmills whiskey distillery. We had guided tour through the factory and it was soooo interesting to see how whiskey is made. Too bad we couldn't take any pictures as it was forbidden. And of course after the tour we got to taste some whiskey samples too. After Bushmills and the Giant's causeway we moved forward to the next place. From carrick-a-rede rope bridge there was a pretty neat view to the sea. The water down there looked so tempting that it made us to want to jump down off the cliff and dive in the sea. Luckily we didn't do that, we were so high from the sea anyways.
